Today’s Top Small Cap Gainers (NASDAQ: QUOT, NLST, and ARST)

Life Quotes Inc. (NASDAQ:QUOT) made huge gains today of 42.50% to close at $3.94.  The jump in price comes after the announcement that LQ Acquisition, Inc. commenced a cash tender offer for all the outstanding publicly held shares not owned by Life Quotes Inc. for $4 per share.  Life Quotes, Inc. is an insurance agency and brokerage headquartered in Darien, Illinois. Life Quotes  owns and operates a comprehensive online consumer insurance information service which caters to the needs of self-directed insurance shoppers.

Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ:NLST) closes up 29.63% to $2.45 on the day.  The majority of this increase came after the announcement late in the day that its HyperCloud™ memory module has been selected to run on Viglen servers to support High Performance Computing (HPC) applications.  Netlist, Inc. designs and manufactures high-performance, logic-based memory subsystems for the server and high-performance computing and communications markets.

ArcSight Inc. (NASDAQ:ARST) performed very strong today after posting total revenues of $181.4 million for fiscal year 2010, a 33% increase year-over-year.  This report sent shares soaring to a high of $24.79 on the day, and still closing up over 18% at $23.40.  ArcSight is a leading global provider of security and compliance management solutions that protect businesses and government agencies. ArcSight identifies, assesses, and mitigates both internal and external cyber threats and risks across the organization for activities associated with critical assets and processes.
