Several Biotech stocks today showed some positive traction with relatively little happening after the GDP numbers were released this morning. Athersys (Nasdaq: ATHX) was definitely the most active of the bunch after announcing positive Phase I data from a study for their stem cell product MultiStem in the treatment of heart damage caused by heart attack.
